Pressure washing quote template

Pressure washing sells on before-and-after and on the add-on. The house wash gets them in; the deck, roof, and fence make the day worth the drive. This template puts the house and driveway as the base and every other surface as an optional line, which is how most washers actually price a stop.

Good to know

Questions people ask before saying yes

Will it damage the siding?+

No. House washing is low pressure and the cleaner does the work. High pressure is only used on concrete.

How long does it stay clean?+

About a year on siding in most yards. Shaded north sides go first; we can schedule a lighter touch-up.

Terms

Payment due on completion. Weather reschedules are free. Oil stains lift but may not disappear completely on older concrete.

Sample content and prices. Optional items are marked; on a real proposal the client toggles them and the total updates.

What a pressure washing quote should include

The method. Low-pressure house wash with a mildew treatment tells a homeowner you will not strip their siding, and it separates you from the rental-machine crowd. Square footage or story count on each surface so the price has a basis. What you protect and how you rinse.

A note about stains that lift versus disappear. Oil on old concrete is the number one disappointment; a sentence in the terms manages it.

How to price the optional items

Deck wash on by default; it is the most common add-on and the most visible result. Roof soft wash off by default at a real price; it is a bigger decision and forcing it in the total causes sticker shock. Fence per 100 feet with the quantity editable. Optional lines let the client build their own day and the total climbs as they do.

Mistakes that lose washing jobs

Quoting the house alone and mentioning the deck in person. If it is not on the page, it is not sold. Using pressure numbers as a selling point. Homeowners do not know what 3,000 PSI means and are more worried you will damage something. A 14-day expiry keeps spring bookings moving.

Deposit and payment

Most washers skip the deposit and take payment on completion. The template ships with no deposit; turn one on for large commercial jobs.

Questions

Should I charge by square foot or by surface?
By surface with the size in the description. It reads clearly and lets you round to numbers people trust.
How do I sell roof cleaning without scaring people?
Call it a soft wash, say no pressure touches the shingles, and make it optional. The people who want it will turn it on.
Do I need a deposit?
Usually not for residential washing. The accept button still gets you a signed scope, which is the part that prevents disputes.
